My journey through movement…
I move in a variety of ways:
dancing, strength training, pilates, biking, cooking, weeding, running around with my niece and nephews, resting…
My movement practices are continuously growing and shifting.
I began studying movement at a very young age in ballet and modern dance classes. I went on to obtain a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance: Performance & Choreography from Ohio University.
In 2018, I moved to Brooklyn, NY, where I continued studying movement through a variety of lenses: performer, choreographer, teacher, nanny, personal trainer, pilates instructor, and compost coordinator (smashing pumpkins for compost processing is still one of my favorite forms of movement).
I am a certified instructor in mat pilates, personal training, and pre- & postnatal strength training. I offer insight into these movement practices by helping clients develop body awareness in order to find the form and alignment that works for their body. My practice embraces collaboration and client education so that you feel empowered to advocate for your needs — because you know your body best!
In 2024, I moved to Pittsburgh, PA, where I will pursue a doctoral education in Occupational Therapy at Chatham University.
